Belinda Lima is a Cape Verdean singer who is acclaimed for her role in promoting the archipelago's popular music, notably for her singing of the song Graça Santa Maria, which garnered significant appreciation from both island residents and Cape Verdean diaspora communities.

Born in the United States to Cape Verdean parents, she was raised in Rhode Island, where she first engaged with Cape Verdean music and culture. She was a member of Jamm Band, cooperated with Tropical Power and the esteemed musician Norberto Tavares, and served as a background voice on albums by other performers. Throughout her creative career, Belinda Lima has cultivated a repertoire that merges traditional sonorities with current inspirations like morna, coladeira, and kizomba. Her interpretative style is characterized by a nuanced and melodic approach, often focusing on themes of cultural identity, emotional depth, insular nostalgia, and a spiritual affinity for the islands of Cape Verde.
The vocalist attained broader acclaim with the album Um Momento, published in 2000, featuring the track Graça Santa Maria. In this piece of art, Belinda Lima celebrates the city of Santa Maria on Sal Island, highlighting its natural beauty, maritime ambiance, and Cape Verdean morabeza—elements that capture the cultural and emotional essence of the archipelago. The composition serves as a musical reference intimately linked to the emotional memories of several Cape Verdeans, especially those in the diaspora.
Among her discographic releases, the albums Realidade d’Amor (1998) and Um Momento (2000) are notable, both produced by NT&T, a firm led by entrepreneur Tony Neves and located in New Bedford. In 2014, she contributed to the CD Saxophonias by saxophonist Adriano Santos, thereby furthering her ties with musicians from the Cape Verdean community.
